We provide classes in different schedules. The students have the option of taking one or two classes a week. Each program block is made of three sessions (Level I, II and III).
PROGRAM # 1 CONDOMINIUM CLASS
We partner with condominium corporations to conduct Capoeira workshops in the common facilities area for their residents. Working together with the management group, while adhering to the individual properties policies and procedures, we design, promote and implement Capoeira workshops within that property. Condominium Class builds a sense of community within the property. It gives the residents the opportunity to explore the creative and self-expressive aspects of Capoeira in movement, dance and music. It also provides a unique fitness/wellness program in their home environment while expanding the properties brand awareness through Muiraquitãs promotional activities.
PROGRAM # 2 CORPORATE CLASS
Muiraquitã works closely with our corporate clients to come up with a customized Capoeira program for their employees. Many factors are taken into consideration to configure the right program for the unique needs of the employer and ultimately the employees. PROGRAM # 3 PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS CLASS
Our goal is to have these people with special needs have a fun, full and rich experience. We provide a healthy and supportive environment where they will learn a variety of capoeira movements, playing capoeira instruments and singing. PROGRAM # 4 CAPOEIRA SENIOR CLASS
This program is designed for people age 50 and over. At this stage, we know that the human body loses a lot of muscle mass and flexibility, and the locomotor part is somewhat compromised. Therefore we take advantage of the capoeira structure and adapt its movements to such students. They may consciously develop flexibility, coordination and rhythm; interacting socially in a healthy and fun enviroment..
PROGRAM # 5 CARDIO CAPOEIRA
Capoeira claims to take a holistic approach to fitness, helping you develop strength, endurance, flexibility, agility and self-defense moves while also relieving stress. The cardio version uses sequences of capoeira movements to improve your strength, endurance and flexibility for a total workout!
